We would like to sincerely apologies for the issue many players have been experiencing logging into there game accounts over the last two days.

We have been asking the support queries as quickly as possible and hopefully now most players have had the issue resolved. (If you know someone that still has problems please ask them to contact support and we will help them as quickly as possible).

Also, if anyone is still having issues with the image server, we have made another change this morning which should resolve any outstanding issues with it. Please be sure the clear your browser cache and restart it however as it involves a chance to the stylesheet for the site which will most likely be cached.

Finally we have allocated reserve stamina to all players. Thank you everyone for your continued support of the game, we appreciate it!

Hey everyone,

It's weekly update time again! This week we have a render of the Dreamlord to show you. Players will encounter this creepy fellow during episode one.





In development news, the Eldevin scripting team has been reuinted with the rest of the development team now that Scriptgate has come to an end! This means they will be getting to work on making our new instances come to life. In the art department we have been continuing to produce a multitude of creatures for players to kill and areas for them to explore.

We have also had our first team of game testers in to try out the early portions of the game, which is producing plenty of feedback for us to work with.

Hey hey!

For our third weekly update we've got a couple of renders of brand new creatures for you to feast your eyes on!







Our busy scripters have been making great progress with their new AI system as they work toward the next internal alpha build. Cowboy has been delighting the world builders with improvements to their editing tools and lighting systems (fullscreen world editor, yay!) and the artists have got started on a bunch of brand new world locations. Who knows, maybe soon you lovely people will get to see some of these new areas.

Hi everyone,

This is a quick update to let you all know how development is progressing on Eldevin.

The team has quickly settled into the new office and are hard at work designing concepts for new areas of the game.

Our programming team are currently reworking the game scripts to make everything run as smoothly as possible which will facilitate future development, an event lovingly nicknamed 'Scriptgate'.

The worldbuilding team have been busy creating new instances and creatures for the earlier stages of the game. They have also been improving some of the older artwork to bring it up to current standards.

Cowboy is relentlessly finishing all engine code and server architecture.
Hoofmaster is working to complete the website.
Xero is creating the spells, creatures and instances.
DocSooty is creating quests, models and realms.
Mojawk is working on balance, AI scripting.
Retroboy is painstakingly creating all required inventory & GUI graphics.
Anakiro is implementing quests like crazy.
PhurieDae is doing spell & ability icons, loading screens and all other required graphics.
Destroyer is designing the last of the quests required and testing the game repeatedly.

We have just released the Eldevin Prologue video which explains a little of the backstory behind Eldevin.

Hey all, this is the first blog of many in which we hope will give you an insight on how the game is shaping up.

All functions of our ChopLib Engine are now complete with the code now at about 99%, leaving only loose ends to be tidied up. This allows all content and systems to be finalised in the run up to release.

In the last five months the scripting team have been painstakingly converting all scripts to a more efficient and managable format. This has been a set back but has made everything much cleaner for the future. The team has also been increased recently to help speed up completion of the scripting side of the game.

All content for the first release has now been finalised, and we currently guestimate it at around 70% completion. This includes level design, quests, item/creature stats, textures, models, animations, sound, music and much more. We expect content development to speed up in the coming months with the script conversions now nearing completion.

The issues with the latest update should now all be corrected. Thank you to all players who reported the issues on the forum.

We have moved CowPlay to a new faster server so the pages should load a lot faster.

We have just improved our Support Center.

You will find that you can now log into the respective game support areas with your game username and password (associated with that game), removing the need to register a seperate Support Account (although there is still a General Support section for which you can register to, for issues not relating to your game account).

Please note that anyone with outstanding support queries prior to the improvements will need to re-submit their query via the new system.

We have made improvements to the CowPlay code to help improve the speed of the page loading.

pretty excited about Battle Dungeon at the moment. I've stopped working on networking code, and can now focus on producing a game. Actually seeing parts of the game take shape is a really good feeling. It's also great to see the first artwork from Zaelin, it's giving the game much more emotion and feeling.

Zaelin writes: They say that starting something is the hardest part, and when your coming up with the entire look and feel of a game its definitely true. But finally after much contemplating, tea and overtime, the concept for the mage has appeared! I originally had her in pastel colours with her arms extended, but she didn't look as funky as I wanted. So took her arms in and added more colour, more fire and some fiery eyes and now she looks pretty cool.

The look at this stage is never set in stone, but I do know that I would like to move away from the traditional fantasy look without going too far away! Medieval European but with a twist. Loads more concepts to go!
